Ascent’s client needed assistance
in introducing a new Nivea Body product to people throughout the country
by distributing 530,000 samples to movie theater visitors at 75 locations…simultaneously.
With just over two weeks to prepare, Ascent hired 225 people to implement
this one weekend promotion. The event ran perfectly and the Nivea Body
product was immediately introduced to thousands of people throughout
the United States. The client was very happy with Ascent’s performance
and the staff had a great time as well. One staff member’s comment
about the program and its result was "The promotion was exciting and
made me happy because I love to see people smile and feeling good."

During the Summer of 2007,
Ascent was asked to provide teams for a national tour to represent ESPN
Deportes and Direct TV. Because the tour was intended to introduce new
Direct TV bilingual channels to Spanish-speaking people throughout the
country, Ascent’s client requested that everyone who worked on the
program be able to speak Spanish fluently. As the tour moved from markets
on the east coast to locations on the west coast, Ascent provided Spanish-speaking
teams to promote the ESPN Deportes and Direct TV brands in a relevant
and personal way. Ascent’s client was very happy with the success
of the tour as well as the awareness that was created in local markets
throughout the country.

During the Brad Paisley Summer
Tour in 2007, Ascent provided local teams to distribute Hershey S’mores
samples to country music fans throughout the country. As the tour moved
from large markets like Washington DC to rural areas like Ft. Campbell,
KY, Ascent provided teams to make the event run well in 25 total markets.
The popularity of the program generated extensive local media coverage
and Ascent staff were often thrilled to find their picture on the cover
of the local newspaper.

Inner Alien Tour"

In over 30 markets throughout
the country, Ascent supported its client in providing outgoing and professional
staff to promote Ben 10, a new hit show on the Cartoon Network. The
program had two mobile teams working simultaneously in local Wal-Mart
and Toys R Us stores and Ascent worked closely with its client to provide
event staff for each day of the eight-week tour. The client was very
happy with the results of the program and kids throughout the country
had a great time interacting with their new favorite cartoon character.

Strip Product Launch

Beginning in July and ending
in September of 2007, Ascent supported its client in providing local
brand ambassadors for two mobile teams in over twenty markets. The staff
enthusiastically promoted a new Listerine whitening strip at events
ranging from homebuilding expos to local regattas. During the tour,
Ascent worked closely with its client to add have the right amount of
people to accommodate with the varying-sized crowds in each city. The
tour was viewed as a strong success and Ascent was praised for being
so attentive to the changing needs of the market managers from location
to location.
